Baby Boutique Tour

For the last 4 months we have been working behind the scenes with the Pregnancy Resource Center  to re- design their baby boutique. This project was an interesting one because we never actually realized what a special resource this place was for women in crisis and how it could offer them all sorts of information and support as they decide what to do about their pregnancy.

While working with the Director , Jane, we had several meetings with her and her supporting staff and the many volunteers from the resource center. In these meetings we discussed all the needs of these women , how they would be using the boutique and how it also needed to be multi=purpose to house educational courses taught in this room, staff meetings, board meetings , storage, and above all a pleasant luxury boutique like shopping experience for the women who visit.

Everyone was on fire and excited to provide their input and wish list for the space. We had big goals and dreams with this one. Because this was such a beautiful opportunity , we called upon several industry partners to come alongside us and support the community effort.

We were met with an overwhelming response and willingness to help pull it all together. The beautiful ladies at Kravet were the first to jump on board. Whenever we are strolling through their showroom Beth and Ellen are always there to ask , “Hey , what are you working on , and how can we help you?” So this was a perfect opportunity and as per usual they did not disappoint. The Shade Store  was the next to hop on board. Vicky is really my rock star. She took care of everything . We love working with her on many of our projects as her expertise is so prevalent and it assists in a stellar result and we wanted this project to be no different.

After months of planning and sourcing and making concessions we had a plan of action and began to execute. Our kind hearted contractor at James Vaca Construction was a very valuable resource as we were renovating an old building in Downtown San Clemente. His expertise was very valuable in navigating those waters. In the end we were able to create a space that serviced many functions and was very pretty to boot.

Check out our process and see how we transformed this dark and old room into a bright and inviting space with lots of functionality and personality. Share this with anyone who loves an uplifting Reno or a good transformation! :)
